How to remember logical notation, and an analogy with set theory

In mathematical logic we have the symbols $\land$ "and" and $\lor$ "or", there are two easy ways to remember these

1. $\land$ looks like an A for "and", $\lor$ is the other one
2. $\land$ is analogous to set-intersection $\cap$ and $\lor$ is analogous to union $\cup$

Math is very interconnected, If you ever have trouble remembering something try and connect it to something you already know.
