How to remember logical notation, and an analogy with set theory

In mathematical logic we have the symbols \land "and" and \lor "or", there are two easy ways to remember these

  1. \land looks like an A for "and", \lor is the other one
  2. \land is analogous to set-intersection \cap and \lor is analogous to union \cup

Math is very interconnected, If you ever have trouble remembering something try and connect it to something you already know.
