Ok day, spent most of the day with friends. Only did ~1h 30m work at home (reviewed PRs to my abbott repo)
Watched a podcast with George Hotz, he said something very interesting, basically: to become a great programmer
- Find GitHub project you like
- Submit pull request
- Repeat
It's comically obvious that doing this full time for a few years would make you a great programmer as well as provide evidence (in the form of your PRs) that you're a great programmer. Since becoming a better programmer is a goal of mine I think I'll allocate a few hours/day to open source.
