Good day, finally getting back on track. Today I
- Broke my plank record. Did 10 minutes!
- Finished Anki reviews
- 2 hours of functional analysis
- 3 hours of chemistry
- 1.5 hours reviewing pull requests to my Abbott solutions repo
I did better today by switching the focus from my work (outcome focus), to becoming the best person I can be (process focus), and by reminding myself of my purpose for doing each thing (e.g. chemistry -> biology -> AI stuff, Abbott -> impressive completed project -> career, proof I can complete projects, etc.)
Things I can do better:
- No youtube after dinner, could have put a large dent in my reading
- Follow todoist list more, aim for todoist-zero
- Go to bed earlier (currently 11:30, try go to bed by 10:30ish)
- Journal before putting little brother to bed
- When Journal and bedtime conflict, priority bedtime?
- When planking try to keep my entire body tense instead of just my arms (harder but helps more muscle groups)
Things I found/watched
- Track purpose in your head
- Tim Ferris challenge videos, watched some parkour
