In mathematical logic we have the symbols $\land$ “and” and $\lor$ “or”, there are two easy ways to remember these

1. $\land$ looks like an A for “and”, $\lor$ is the other one
2. $\land$ is analogous to set-intersection $\cap$ and $\lor$ is analogous to union $\cup$
